Tit-Bits

Not alot has been happening on the blogging front, but thats not to say I havent been crafting……

In between exams, a weekend trip away to Wellington for my cousins 21st and several 12 hour days at work, I’ve managed to fit in a few small projects here and there.

The rosette on top of the box is a brooch, (Inspiration courtesy of MollyChicken) and inside the box is Clapotis, enclosed in a simple drawstring bag:

The colours aren’t very true, as this was more blue than suggested by the photo. A fabulous bag, easy to make and a great “gift around a gift” -perfect for the silly season. Once I’ve moved house I’ll try and do a wee tutorial :) (Oooh, uncharted territory!)

Using some felt I made a long time ago, but was not being used to its full potential, I made a couple of little zippered bags, and I’ve got some left over to make one or two more. The lining is a thrifted pillow case, so so cute!

The wee flower isn’t attatched, it was a birthday gift for a friend, but I may make one for a subsequent bag.

In other, more knitterly news, Rhonda and I are getting along famously, and in the interests of not having to spin more wool, I am currently doing ribbing and plan to cast off in the near future. I have imminent plans for more grandscale projects.

Moving is likely to occupy all of my time in the next week, so no doubt I will be blogging more regularly in an effort to prcrastinate. I may even have to unpack my sewing machine to effectivly acheive this! That tutorial may come sooner rather than later!
