On saturday I went into an op-shop looking for some knitting needles and came out with several peices of cotton and two sheets in fantastic condition (the blue fabric on the left). It was my lucky day.
Also found: a small cluster of mushrooms.
I made a knitting bag for a friend for her birthday, complete with homespun yarn, needles and the promise of knitting lessons.

Happiest of birthdays! Have the UPS folks found you yet? Apparently they’ve been cavorting around NZ with your package!!!

Ha ha, I like the “mushrooms”. What a great idea to offer lessons with the knitting bag, yarn and needles. I must try that idea and see if I can convert my non-crafty friends…

I like that black (or blue?) and white cotton in the middle.
Happy Birthday

Great finds… where is the op shop open on a Saturday? Now that school has started, I can’t haunt my fav spots as they all close at 3.30pm.

I love how the scale of the spheres are the same in each picture. Nice!
