Nana and Grandad’s Magnolias.

My grandparents have an amazing garden, but what it most noticeable at this time of year is their 40 odd magnolia trees. I had lunch with them today, and got a few shots.

Magnolias are the flower I miss from my home land (Texas). The fragrance hits you right between the shoulderblades! Love the shot at the top. Great composition 🙂

Stunning! The magnolias bloom in May around here – we’ve only found about 4 in our town and make yearly pilgrimages to see them all, as they’re my husband’s favourites. Beautiful photos!
